A day of firsts

Florida 2011, Day 6, part 1:

29th November 2011

So this morning we got up and headed off early to Disney again. This time we were going to Disney’s Hollywood Studios:

First thing we saw outside the gates was their huge Christmas tree:

Once we stopped for pictures we headed into the park and first to greet us was Bo:

We strolled up Hollywood Boulevard admiring the decorations on our way to the hat:

Then for breakfast we were a little bit naughty and decided to have a sweet treat in Starring Rolls.
Once we had finished all the sweet treats we could handle we went off to find something new to do but first there was a bunch of characters out meeting people in their Hollywood outfits so we went to meet Minnie, Donald and Daisy:

We headed off under the Hollywood arch towards our next destination:

We stopped at One Man’s Dream along the way to look at the displays:

We decided to stay and watch the movie at One Man’s Dream as well. It’s basically about Walt Disney’s history. I felt sorry for him with all the struggles he had but felt so much gratitude that he created my super happy place. After the movie we headed towards the Pixar studios:

From there we decided to do the Studio Backlot Tour. It was cool to see all the movie props like Hannah Montana’s house and Walt Disney’s plane:

At the section where they show the disaster scene of the truck going on fire the lady beside us in the tram nearly ended up on our knew when the water came down trying to get away from it lol. Nobody got wet though.

Like any good Disney ride it emptied out into a shop but this one had movie costumes on display as well:

As we were making our way to the next show we wanted to do we got a little diverted but two Monsters:

There was a few funny little signs in there queue area:

As we continued on our way we spotted the crib so I took a quick pic:

Next we went to Muppet Vision 3D. We missed this in 2010 and it’s one of my favourite shows so I wanted to make sure we got it in early this year:
