Christmas in Disneyland Paris, part 3

So after we left the Walt Disney Studios we headed back in to the main Disneyland Park. We stopped at guest services quickly before getting some hot dogs in Casey's Corner. We wanted to try go to Peter Pan while the parade was on in the hopes there would be less people there. Along the way I noticed the Winnie the Pooh meet and greet had some new decorations:
When got to Peter Pan Flight's we were disappointed to see alot of other people had the same idea as us of going during the parade. The queue was still 40 minutes long but we decided to suck it up and go regardless:

After that we headed back through Fantasyland and down Main Street USA:
We got a place in front of the Christmas tree for the lighting ceremony. The characters came out on a big platform and did a few dances to a couple of Christmas songs before getting a child out of the audience and deeming him the Sorcerer's Apprentice then with a little bit of Magic he lit up the Christmas tree:

After that since nothing else was scheduled on the park timetable until Dreams we headed back to Fantasyland. We went through the shops to avoid the crowd. I love Disney's attention to detail. This was on a pillar at the confectionery shop:
In Fantasyland we decided to go on Small World one more time. While we were in the queue we noticed laser beams going around the castle and suddenly the Christmas lights came on. This was not scheduled on the park timetable so we totally missed the lighting of the castle which I was disappointed about. Instead we sailed the happiest cruise on earth again:

After that we went back out to the castle hub again to get a spot for Dreams. I of course took pictures of Fantasyland along my way. The tea cups looked so cool in the dark:

We got a spot in front of the castle for Dreams this night and had a much better view of the fountains and everything going on at the base of the castle.

After that we headed towards the exit for the final time for 2012.

Christmas in Disneyland Paris, part 2

Before we left the Frontierland area we went over to Cottonwood Creek where there was a Christmas Village with Santa's Post office, lots of fake snow and Snowmen:

There was also a bunch of characters in Christmas outfits:

Santa was also meeting there but we didn't queue for him. We headed out towards the castle hub and towards Fantasyland:

It was about 2 o'clock at that stage and we had wanted to get fast passes for Peter Pan but they had stopped giving out fast passes for the day when we went back to check. We wandered through Fantasyland:

After that we decided to explore Discoveryland for a while:

We decided to use the train to go from Discoveryland to Main Street USA:

Once we got back to Main Street USA we left Disneyland and headed for the Walt Disney Studios. In the Frontlot there was a bunch of characters meeting in Christmas outfits:

In Walt Disney Studios we went to the English version of Stitch live. It was good but Stitch didn't really sound like himself. Before leaving I went over to Toontown to see who was meeting in Mickey's place since he was in the Frontlot. It was Daisy:

After that we headed back out to the Frontlot for a few more pictures:

After that we said our farewells to the Walt Disney Studios for 2012:

Christmas in Disneyland Paris, part 1

So on our last full day in Disneyland Paris in 2012 it was the start of the Christmas season. It was also a very foggy morning but I think that just added to the magical feel of the place. I spotted balloons on the way in. I love how different the balloons in DLP are compared to WDW:
There was alot more Christmas decorations up that day as well. The windows had more decorations, the fence had been taken down from around the Christmas tree and Main Street had Christmas garlands:

There was a few characters meeting around the Christmas tree in Christmas themed outfits including one I've never seen before. Angel:

It was the ridiculous mob system again so I didn't bother to wait long. Today we walked the shops on the side of the street we hadn't explored so it was the Main street bakery and confectionery shop which were full of Disney yummies:

At the top of the street the Castle hub was also full of Christmas decorations including fake snow and Disney Snow characters:

We waited here for the first Christmas Cavalcade of the day. It reminded me of the parade at  Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party in WDW but there was fake snow on Main Street, Santa and a bunch of Disney characters:

From there we went over towards Discoveryland around the side of the castle which was also decorated for Christmas:

We went in through Fantasyland where there was a few characters mobbing including another one I hadn't seen in the parks before. It was Rabbit from the Winnie the Pooh movies:

We wandered through Fantasyland and over towards Adventureland not going on any rides but just taking in the scenery.

From there we wandered down towards Frontierland and decided to take a boat trip on the Molly Brown. In DLP Thunder Mountain is on its own island. You get on the train in Frontierland and then the train goes underwater and comes up on Big Thunder Mountain Island. The Molly Brown travels around Big Thunder Mountain's Island.

You get a good view of the Haunted Mansion from the top of the boat as well:

I spotted this as we got off the boat. Jack and Sally from Nightmare before Christmas were meeting in front of it. I didn't wait for pictures but there was a proper character queue there as well:
